Anna DiGesu, born in The United States of Italian parents, is a full time professional artist. She uses a variety of different styles and techniques to create her artwork, from oil on canvas and board to water color and her very own invention - "Water Color Diffusion". She generally enjoys creating paintings of people and especially the human form and developed the style called Naif.  She made up scenes of Spanish life as it was in the late 60’s and early 70’s and these works, done in acrylic due to the fine detail, became very popular.

Born in Barcelona in 1964, Antonio began painting before he turned 14. 

He studied at several painting schools and preferred to work on oil painting  from the beginning . 

In 2003 he moved to the coast of Granada where he made several exhibitions in  Almuñécar.

Antonio is a realistic nature painter, famous for his beach and sea paintings of La Herradura.

Self-taught, she has always liked to paint, but since 2014, when she bought her first canvas, she fully dedicates her time to her works. Acrylic on wood is her specialty, and the colours of her own palette are recognised in a blink of an eye. Lourdes has achieved her own style and her works are ideal for decorating any environment.

Born in Saint Etienne (France) in 1947, practising painting since he was 16 years old, he has lived outside his home country, particularly in Tunisia, which may explain the luminosity of his works.  

This great artist has exhibited in Hamamet, Tunis, Paris, Lyon, Almuñécar

Rafael Martos de Jesus

Artistically known as Nia, Rafael is a Grenadian who decided to emigrate to Rome where he saw an opportunity to nurture and publicize his works. Looking for inspiration in everything that forms life itself such as history, society, religion ... thus creating his first collection from 2014, his paintings are characterized by dripping and splashing paint, a technique originated by the abstract expressionism authors of the 20th century  as well as different figurative styles of the Baroque,  characterized by the modern combination of a classic style figurative-drip or Baroque-drip.

 Dutch artist and writer living in La Herradura. She creates oil and acrylic paintings, ceramic statues and has so far published six books, each of which has one of her paintings on the cover.  Renate has had many exhibitions of her work in places including Paris, Rome and Amsterdam. Her work has been purchased by clients from Moscow to New York.   In her famous series   ''flamenco with a twist '', inspired by spanish flamenco music and dance, flamenco dancers started to appear in her work.

She also gives art classes in her lovely studio in La Herradura.

With a positive and passionate attitude, informed by a lively and eclectic imagination, her work is pervaded by a sense of fun, ultimately reflecting the beauty of our natural world.
